MY T SHIRTS!!!
For my Christmas Make, I decided to screen print a selection of t shirts using an image I had been developing. I overlayed the same image in different ways, using Photoshop to help me make different shapes, and screen printed them.. I tried to mix up the colour schemes and the way I portrayed the image, using the front and reverse including the colour of the t shirts themselves to show diversity, and make them look as interesting as possible. These are some photos from the photo shoot I did that I edited and collaged together. I wanted my t shirts to be unisex and therefore took photos of men and women wearing them.
I hope you like them :)
Peace

Christmas Make
For my Christmas make I made a white sundress. I inserted this panel into the bodice. The technique I used was drawn thread where I pulled horizontal threads from the fabric and then tied sections of the vertical threads together to create the diamond pattern. It was a struggle to get it finished in time but I was really pleased with how the dress turned out! The picture below gives you some idea how the dress looked when it was put together although the skirt is a bit folded here! Hope you all had a lovely Christmas break and good luck for exams!

For my Christmas make I decided to make a pencil case and notebook with a camera theme to link the two items together.

My Christmas Make
For my Christmas Make I decide to make a Fabric Bouquet to relate to my wedding theme that I have followed in my book. I wanted to create a piece that showed a variety of techniques and was quite small and simple to make.

My Christmas Make - Claudia
I ended up covering the tank in three pieces: the main body, the sand guards and the caterpillar tracks. Then I hand-stitched it all together and attached the hair comb to the underneath.
Here I am modelling the tank doing my best Isabella Blow impression.
After the stressful ordeal of the tank it was a relieve to be able to start knitting. However, the beret was not without its own problems. I had intended to knit the beret with 4ply yarn and in sepia style colours. However, I had to make a choice between having a 4 ply beret in baby coloured pastels or a double knit beret in camouflage colours as they had an incredible limited choice in the shop. I went for the camouflage. The finished hat can be seen below.
I am quite glad that I did go for camouflage in the end as the two hats compliment each other and feel as if they're from the same collection.
